Ukraine got rid of Lenin.
As you know, duringMaidana 2013-2014years and the subsequent de-communization, in Ukraine almost all the monuments to Lenin were dismantled. Surprisingly, there are those who do not understand this decision of the Ukrainians - they say, "this is our history," "this is a historical figure," and so on. At the same time, probably, few of Lenin’s advocates think about how monstrous this historical person was for Ukraine and Ukrainians.
It was Lenin who, in fact, ordered the seizure and destruction of an independent UPR and the creation of a puppet USSR, it was Lenin who provoked the beginning of repression in Ukraine and the first famine of 1921-23, which then went on to the Holodomor of 1932-33. It was Lenin who began to take out the able-bodied and active population from Ukraine - calling it "fists and world-wide" and declaring it enemies.
In today's post - a story about what Lenin arranged in Ukraine, what he said about this country and what was left of him as a result. Come under the cat, it is interesting. Welladd friendsDo not forget)
What did Lenin say about Ukraine?
Let's first find out that Lenin was talking about Ukraine. In general, one must admit that Lenin was in some sense an honest and direct person, so he did not tell tales about the "brotherly people" and the "united Slavic world", but spoke bluntly - we mustconquer, to take out bread from there and recruit soldiers from there to their army. Here is what Lenin said at the conference of railway workers in 1919, this speech was published in vol. 38 of the complete collection of his works:
“Now, with the conquest of Ukraine and the strengthening of Soviet power on the Don, our strength is growing stronger. We now say that we have sources of bread and food, the opportunity to get fuel from the Donetsk basin. We are confident that, although the most difficult months are suitable, when the food crisis has worsened, when our transport is worn out and destroyed, we will nevertheless survive this crisis. In Ukraine, there are huge reserves, surplus of bread, it is difficult to take them immediately - there is still partisan.
We need at least three thousand railway workers, part of the peasants from northern hungry Russia, to move to Ukraine. The Ukrainian government has already issued a decree on the exact distribution of the amount of bread that can now be taken in the amount of 100 million pounds. ”
And Lenin did not lie - indeed, after the seizure of Ukraine and the export of grain and recruits from there, the Soviet government began to grow stronger every day, leaving villages in Ukraine devastated by hunger and war.
What Lenin gave in Ukraine.
In 1917, an independent UNR already existed on the territory of Ukraine, the Central Council of which played the role of a state parliament. In parallel with this, the Bolsheviks, under the leadership of Soviet Russia, created the Ukrainian SSR in Kharkov, and during the fighting (numerous troops were thrown into Ukraine), the Bolsheviks seized Ukraine by force.
Immediately after the seizure of Ukraine, Lenin, as an honest person, kept his promise - setting up collectivization and starting to export grain from Ukraine in an unknown direction, which provoked the year of 1921-23 - in May 1921 about 10 million people were starving in Ukraine, in fact, half the population - and from 1.5 to 3 million people died as a result of this famine ... In addition to exporting grain and people, Leninist Bolsheviks also destroyed Ukrainian churches, where, under the guise of "fighting religion", icons, gold, historical valuables were taken - which were then sold abroad, and the money went to war again.
Also, it was Lenin who started the export from Ukraine of an active and able-bodied population, which was declared "fists" - hardworking and economic men together with one cart of things (at best) were sent to Siberia or some Kazakhstan. For fun, talk with your friends in the Urals and to the east - every second or third will have Ukrainian roots, and their ancestors fell into these harsh lands at their own will ...
In the 1930s, the policy of Lenin in Ukraine was continued by Stalin - having organizedHolodomor 1932-33years and continuing to export to the camps of Ukrainian citizens - already under the guise of "enemies of the people."
What remains of Lenin in Ukraine.
In the course of the Maidan 2013-2014 and the de-communization that followed it, Ukraine almost completely got rid of all the traces of Lenin — since 2015, when the Law on de-communization was adopted, 987 settlements were renamed and 52 thousand other toponyms were changed. Also, 1,500 monuments to Lenin were dismantled, which were abundantly instructed in Soviet times - by the number of Lenins, Ukraine was the "most Leninized" country in the world.
In the course of de-communization, the Communist Party and its symbols were completely banned in Ukraine, and in the course of de-communization the archives of the KGB were fully opened in Ukraine, and now anyone can find out what the Soviet government really was and what kind of figure for Ukrainians Lenin was.
