Speech therapy exercises for children who teach to pronounce letters

Causes of incorrect pronunciation

  • One of the most common isparent's wrong approach to communicating with the child. If father and mother, grandparents, repeat his childish words for the child, lisp with him, then communication remains at the level of the child. He then does not see an example of correct speech. He does not know the right words. Communicate clearly, correct his pronunciation and do not use in his speech distorted words.
  • The next reason isviolations in the structure of the speech apparatus of the child:
    a) a short bunch under the tongue, which makes it difficult to move;
    b) the language is too big or small, which prevents good diction;
    c) abnormalities in the structure of the jaw and defects in the structure of the teeth;
    d) too thick or thin lips that make it difficult to articulate lip sounds.
  • Also one of the reasons turns out to beviolation of the perception of the baby sounds. Such violations lead to the fact that the child does not recognize individual sounds and therefore can not reproduce them correctly.
