American HBO channel will remove a mini-series about Chernobyl
HBO channel in 2018 will begin to shoot a series about the Chernobyl disaster. Jared Harris, who played Professor Moriarty in the Guy Ritchie film "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows", played a major role. The actor will perform the role of a scientist Valery Legasov, who was instructed by the Soviet government to find out the cause of the accident at the nuclear power plant.
In the mini-series will be five episodes, the script for them was written by Craig Mazin - the author of "Snow White and Hunter 2". Will remove his Swedish musician, music video director and film director Johan Renk, who worked on several episodes of the TV series "Breaking Bad," "The Walking Dead" and "Vikings."

Jared Harris is a 55-year-old British actor best known for playing Lane Price on Mad Men and Dr. David Jones on Edge. His other works include the Agents of A.N.K.L., Resident Evil 2: Apocalypse, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

The mini-series will be the first collaboration between HBO and Sky Television. HBO has filmed the series Game of Thrones, Sex and the City, Clan Soprano, Real Detective, Young Dad and World of the Wild West.
